So, yeah, Orlando Rocks!!!*^*^* I’ve decided to hang out here for awhile and record a new album with Reed, Alvin, Brian and Florizel as Meka Nism and her Rusty Tears. The sound is cosmically full and goose bump inspiring . I love playing with talented friends. We are playing some gigs and planning to be on tour before long. Fish Are Swimming!
So, last Thursday we all dressed up like pirates and magical fish people and filmed a music video on the Kamo River in Kyoto. It was a perfect sunny day, with amazing friends. I still can’t get any pictures to post on here, so please use your enchanted imagination to see a world of crazy people dancing with cherry blossoms. I got a wicked sun burn, so I could’ve played the lobster myself. Thank you to everyone involved. Julie made a fantastical artistic explosion while Caitlin, Mitsu, Brian, Sascha, Ben, Chris and others became fish people. Our royal guest were super cool Christopher Fryman as Fish King and the amazingly talent Markun as fish prince. www.kodomokyojin.com
The pirate crew was stunning, Kanji, Mitchy, and Kota played part and intstrument so excellently. I totally got to be the Pirate Captain Princess!!! We had a blast and a splash, especially when Chris helped reenact the shipwreck.
I don’t know how the magical Ryosuke Okamoto will put an hours worth of footage into a 4 minute video, but he is one of the most talented people on the planet, so I think he can manage.
I can see the turtle, I can see the clam, I can see the lobster…….
You can see it all in action at the CD Release party at Urbanguild on Thursday, April 15th.

私たちから皆さんに報告があります。
2010年4月から、だいたい2011年初旬…？くらいまで、
活動を休止することになりました！
いつかの再開後はおそらく、『Origamiガールズ』という名前ではなくなっていると思います。
なので言うなれば『Origamiガールズ』は、4月で閉幕です。

理由は、次のステップへ成長するためのリフレッシュ休暇です。
Mekaは一度アメリカへ帰国し、その後ヨーロッパへ音楽旅行に旅立ちます。
ゆか里はソロ活動と平行して、村上三奈とのユニット『天晴レ天女ズ』をスタートします。
それぞれが一人でもしっかり立てるOrigamiガールズ。
それを私たちは1番大切にしているので、今回も
『ゆか里いい感じねー！』『Mekaも行ってらっしゃいな！』
『ほな、帰ってくるまで休止するか！』
てなノリです。（あ、ほんまは英語ですけど。笑）
この形で出来るライブも残りわずかですが、どうか応援のほどよろしくお願いいたします。
